Daniel Voyce is a Director of Nu Order Webs. Having had over 6 years commercial experience in the web development field Daniel has worked on numerous projects from small portfolio sites through to huge e-commerce sites sent out to tender. His primary skill set is PHP, but has experience in several other languages from Ada to Java.
Daniel and Matt setup Nu Order Webs in February 2007 as a collaborative project to provide clients with Daniel’s development skills and Matt’s SEO expertise. Since then the company has gone from strength to strength with many clients signing on to our books. Recent projects include www.dancemidisamples.com and www.anythingequine.co.uk.
Recently Daniel has started experimenting more and more with CakePHP (A PHP MVC framework) and has started a project for his main client to create a large interactive karaoke community. This Blog hopes to complement and document his forages through this – hopefully helping people looking for answers using this often confusing framework.
So what does the future hold for Daniel and Nu Order Webs? In all honesty pretty much more of the same, the majority of my work is done for a company called Sing To The World – all of which I enjoy immensely. On top of that several other projects have been bid upon. We also intend to take on contractors (specifically with a Joomla / CakePHP skillset – get in touch if you have these skills) to enable us to take on more contracts.
